繼2023年「花蓮站禮賓候車室」竣工後,北部首間台鐵禮賓候車室也於今(2/1)日正式啟用,由雄獅旅遊聯袂國營台灣鐵路股分有限公司打造而成,內裝採用棕色調呈現古色古香空氣,設置沙發憩息區、免費充電插座、無線網路等設施,還吃獲得蛋糕、牛肉麵、披薩等美食。只如果雄獅旅遊會員、台鐵會員等皆可進入消費。
北部首間「南港站禮賓候車室」趕在農曆年前2月1日正式啟用,這也是台灣都邑區第一個禮賓室,代表台鐵公司成立後,積極活化參觀產業及資產開辟。台鐵公司及雄獅旅遊表示,南港車站平均逐日運量超過6萬人次,禮賓室能同時辦事三鐵共構的複雜人流。

台鐵董事長杜微透露表現,當初決意北部首間禮賓候車室設在南港,是因垂青南港將來轉運功能不輸給板橋、台北,進展能連系參觀、四周運具、購物中間等各項服務。
真空包裝機雄獅旅遊董事長王文傑則說,除花蓮、南港外,將來也會打造新左營、新烏日車站的禮賓候車室,和雄獅自費在屏東枋寮打造的枋寮禮賓候車室。
雄獅旅遊表示,南港站禮賓候車室對照國際機場高朋室規格,結合藝廊空間設計美學,內裝以1885年月「南港茶之鄉」的理念為發想,行使棕色調出現古色古香的傳統空氣,並設置沙發憩息區、免費充電插座、無線網路等舉措措施,供應雄獅旅遊會員、臺鐵會員、鳴日號旅客、EMU3000型騰雲座艙搭客、特約客戶利用,入內低消100元另可享免費行李存放辦事。

候車室餐飲則是由雄獅團體旗下餐飲事業體「欣食旅」規劃,利用南港在地出產的包種茶、桂花釀,製作出木樨蜜茶香鬆餅、桂花拿鐵、輕檸木樨美式等特點飲食,還連系臨近的基隆、宜蘭兩大縣市在地元素,推出迷迭香海鮮、金桔鴨賞兩款創意披薩。茶席體驗更與台灣頂級茶具品牌「陶作坊」聯名,為搭客帶來喝茶之樂。另外,凡台鐵會員及騰雲座艙搭客可享9折優惠,即日起至2月8日,消費打卡即贈手工餅乾乙份。
